Swaply started as a simple idea:

Fix the broken way students buy, sell, and rent on campus.
No more sketchy DMs. No more strangers pulling up. No more wondering if it’s a scam.

It began like most real things do, late-night talks in dorm rooms, frustration after a bad sale, seeing friends get ghosted or ripped off.

We knew campus needed something better.

So we built it.

Swaply is a platform made by University of Arkansas students, for University of Arkansas students.

Every detail was shaped by the way we actually live: between classes, during move-out, before the weekend, after the tailgate.

This isn’t some big tech solution repackaged for students.
It’s a student-first marketplace designed to feel personal, safe, and built around trust.

We verify every user.

We protect every transaction.

We make sure campus trade stays on campus — where it belongs.

This isn’t just about buying or selling.
It’s about building something that works for us.
That scales with our community.
That makes college a little easier, a little safer, and a lot more connected.

We’re not here to go viral.
